Bored of the same old ideas? Sometimes, hearing different opinions can lead to fresh perspectives and new possibilities. In this edition of ableneo’s Agile Monthly Digest, we’re shaking things up by questioning the status quo and exploring alternative viewpoints. We’re not saying you must agree with everything we present, but we’re confident you’ll consider them. So please grab a coffee and join us for lively conversation and thought-provoking insights.
- SAFe: a collection of comments from leading experts — Are you considering implementing SAFe in your organization? Well, it’s worth noting that many smart people (including myself) believe it can be counterproductive — and even harmful. We’ve gathered a collection of comments from leading experts in the field to give you a well-rounded perspective. So before you decide, take a moment to read their insights.
- #058 — Bryan Finster — continuous delivery — In one of the older editions of No Nonsense Agile Podcast (recommended to subscribe!), Bryan Finster discusses the core of agile product creation — and more specifically, how to handle the product once the code is written. As he points out, having a solid engineering foundation can be the make-or-break factor for you, your teams, and your company.
- The age of Agile must end — If I had a 1€ for every article or keynote that advocates throwing away Agile or Scrum, I’d have a pretty penny by now. However, I don’t dismiss these ideas without a second thought. Instead, let’s approach them with a critical eye, open to the possibility of learning something new and valuable. After all, being receptive to alternative ideas and approaches is the key to continual improvement for both Scrum Masters and their teams.
